Lloyds TSB British Weather Photography Competition



Calling all budding photographers have I got a competition for you!! Lloyds TSB are running aBritish weather photographer of the year competition and the prize is £10,000!!
To enter the competition, participants must submit their photos capturing British weather to the Lloyds TSB website. The overall winner will be picked on the basis of flair, technique and originality. The entries will be judged by a leading panel of meteorologists and photographers.

The competition will run from April 13th – September 30th 2010. Take a look at entries submitted so far

All visitors to this site can vote for their favourite photographs, and each week the one with the most votes wins £100.

The photos taken by the 12 lucky finalists will be put in a public exhibition for a week before the overall winner of £10,000 is announced.

The competition runs from 13th April to 30th September 2010, with judging of the 12 finalists taking place in November
Photographs must be taken in the UK
Entrants can submit as many photographs as they wish
Entrants are required to:
be 18 or over
be a UK resident
have the right to use the images

Now I’m the greatest photographer, but I thought I’d take a chance, this is the photo I entered, its was taken early in the summer when the weather was glorious I was sat in the garden enjoying the weather and this is was my view.

Don’t forget you have until 30th September to enter so if you don’t have a picture already well then get snapping!
