The Sun’s £9.50 Holidays 2011

For the last two years we have been on a Sun holiday. Last September we went to Weymouth and the year before we went to Inverness. We had a great time and it was so inexpensive.

With money still tight for most people this is a great opportunity to get away and not break the bank.

There are holidays available in Europe and you can take your holiday in March, April, May, September, October and November.

It’s so simple to do; you have to collect 10 different tokens from the Sun Newspaper and the News of the World.

Fill in the booking form, up to 8 people can go, with a cheque for the cost of the holiday.

Here are my top tips for booking a holiday from the Sun.

  • Collect your tokens as soon as possible, so you can be in with a good chance of getting the holiday you want, especially if you want the half term dates.
  • Have your booking form filled in before you have all the tokens. Make sure who have a good mix of dates and venues.
  • Have a look at the holiday venues online to see their full facilities and things to do in the area.
  • On top of the £9.50 they may be service charges and costs for entertainment passes check this when booking.
  • Once you have all your tokens get your form off straight away.

Closing date for applications is Friday, February 11th, 2011. Unsuccessful applicants will get their payments back.

The first token in this Saturday’s Sun. For full details see the Sun’s Holiday Page.

Happy collecting!

  1. I agree have been going on sun holidays since they started at 6.00 and great value for money but went to Pontins with them last year and it was TERRIBLE so although I'd recommend Haven and all others advice staying away from Prestatyn Pontins even checked before I went and was advised reviews were wrong on how bad they were

  3. we have been on a few of the sun holidays, and no complaints! the worst was pontins at prestatyn, but even that was ok. we dont use the entertainment much, we just use the accomodation as a base, so as long as its clean, we dont really mind! we have just managed to get in at trevelgue, porth, cornwall at easter.

  5. We went to Bude in October 2011. The worst place we have ever stayed. The caravan had the last occupants lunch hidden behind the soft cushions!Dead flies covered the windowsills and the toilet was broken. Absolutely disgusting place to stay so do avoid!
