Price: £1.25
Available from: ASDA
Suitable from: Toddler
Initial Reaction: I thought this was a great idea for Mother's day. At £1.25 they're not going to break the bank and the fact they can be personalised is sure to make mums happy if they were to receive these decorated by their children.
Pros: You only need to add a small amount of butter and some water so no need to make sure you've got lots of ingredients in the cupboard. It comes with it's own cookie cutter.
Cons: The writing tube kept getting blocked with a bit of blackcurrant and i ended up having to snip the end of the tube off, making decorating difficult.
Value for money? Yes
Overall Reaction: These were really simple to make as far as baking them. The decorating was a bit fiddly and younger children would probably struggle but with an adult's help it would be manageable. The mixture did make the amount of cookies stated with a minimal amount left over. It is a lovely idea for Mother's Day which even those not blessed with culinary skills could manage. I would definitely buy them again as a quick and easy activity to do on a rainy day.
