Toy Review - Fisher Price Two Tune TV

Product: Fisher Price Two Tune TV

Price: RRP £29.99

Available from: Esdevium Games, Amazon

Suitable from: 12 Months

Initial Reaction: Just like I remembered when I was little. The TV plays two tunes Row, Row, Row Your Boat and London Bridge is Falling Down. Pictures scroll across the screen as they play. I thiugh BG would get bored with it but she didn’t.

Pros:
  • Sturdy
  • Looks good
  • Sound is good
  • Pictures are cute
  • Keeps BG’s attention for more than 5 minutes

Cons:
  • Only plays two tunes, this can get annoying at times
  • BG has trouble turning the knob herself, though generally because she is turning it the wrong way.

Value for money? It’s a lot of money for a musical toy. However we have had it a month and BG is not bored with it yet and she hasn’t broken it!

Overall Reaction:  It’s a really nice toy, BG really likes it.  She does have difficulty turning the knob the right way, which means I have to keep winding it up for her and the same two tunes over and over again can be slightly annoying.  A tad expensive for a non educational toy.
