Win a Child’s Costume for World Book Day

World Book Day is on March 1st and celebrates reading, authors, illustrators and books. It’s a fantastic event that has been going 15 years. Schools, libraries charities, TV and radio all come together to help celebrate.

This year 14 Million £1 book vouchers will be given to children to put towards a cost of a book.  They can purchase one of the 8 special £1 books or use it against any book that cost £2.99 or more.

Schools often have a dress up day where the children dress up us a character from a book. I have teamed up with Mega Fancy Dress and have two costumes to give away. One girl’s and one boy’s .

To enter all you have to do is fill in the form below and tell which one you would like to win.

The Big World Book Day Giveaway

Thursday 3rd March is World Book Day.

World Book Day was designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, and is marked in over 100 countries around the globe. The origins of the day we now celebrate in the UK and Ireland come from Catalonia, where roses and books were given as gifts to loved ones on St. George’s Day – a tradition started over 90 years ago.

To help celebrate World Book Day I have been given some great prizes to giveaway!
