Charity Tuesday – Will You Be A Fairy God Mother?

The Fairy and Make-A-Wish Foundation^® partnership is now in its seventh year and aims to help make even more magical wishes come true for children across the country. Whether their wish is to take a ride in a helicopter, have their very own private playground built, or to have a bedroom makeover, the charity can make it happen.

By buying special packs of Fairy this winter you can also help to make the magical wishes of children, like Ella, come true.

Eight year-old Ella lives with a Spinal Tumour and wished for a day of pampering so that she could take a break from her relentless trips to the hospital, which she has had to endure since the age of two. Ella and her family were whisked off to a hotel and spa where she was ‘beautified’ ahead of a truly magical horse-drawn carriage ride around the hotel’s stunning gardens. Ella is also being featured on special packs of Fairy this Christmas.

In support of the campaign, Myleene Klass commented: “I’m delighted to be involved in the Fairy and Make-A-Wish initiative to make wishes come true for seriously ill children and young people. I urge people to get involved and help Fairy make more wishes come true. I hope lots of people feel inspired by those who have already helped so many wishes become a reality for children across the country.”

Free Timmy Time Books with Fairy

Fairy are giving away free Timmy Time books with every purchase of Fairy Non Bio or Fairy Fabric Softener, all you have to do is send them your receipt to show proof of purchase (and you address so they know where to send it) and they will send you a book. 

I think that’s a pretty good deal, I know you have to buy the Fairy Non Bio or Fairy Fabric Softener but there is no coupons to collect and no p&p to pay.

There are 3 books to collect Timmy Wants to Win, Timmy Steals the Show and Timmy Wants the Beret, BG is a big Timmy fan so we will be collecting them.

The offer ends 31^st October 2010, so you have plenty of time to collect them ( you could even wait until Fairy is on offer sshhh I didn’t say that)

Bee Part Of A Disney Movie!!

Disney are running a national competition with Argos to find the voice for a Fairy character in their forthcoming Tinker Bell animated movie “Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue”.  

The competition has been created to celebrate the launch of the new Disney Fairies product range at Argos.

This is the first time the opportunity to voice a character in the Disney Fairies movies has been offered to members of the British public

“Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue” follows the adventures of Tinker Bell and her friends during a summer stay in the English countryside. The lucky winner will voice the character of a ‘Bee-Painting Fairy’, who is responsible for painting stripes on bees in preparation for the summer season.

The competition is open to people aged 6 years and above. To be in with a chance of winning, participants need to visit www.disney.co.uk/voiceofafairy and record their voices directly onto the competition page via their computer or laptop microphone while looking at a scene from “Tinker Bell and The Great Fairy Rescue”. 

Entries can be submitted between today, 10 March, and midnight on 7 May 2010. 

From all the entries received, eight people will be shortlisted and taken to legendary Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire where they will each be recorded reading for the character in a professional recording studio. One winner will be selected by the film’s Director to be the voice of the ‘Bee-Painting Fairy’ and will see their name on the credits of the UK version of the movie. All finalists will receive a selection of Disney Fairies products courtesy of Argos and the winner will additionally get £500 of Argos vouchers.
