BG Makes a Smoothie

On Saturday me, BG, my best friend N and my God Daughter E attended a family fun day at Innocent UK HQ or Fruit Towers as it’s know.  We were invited along to share our healthy eating tips with them as they are planning a children cookery book which I’m quite excited about.

BG was asleep when we arrived, so N and E went off to do Smoothie making and sat drank coffee and ate carrot cake. It gave me a chance to chat to some other mummy bloggers I’d been dying to meet and people watch.  The people at Innocent where really friendly and came to make sure I was OK sat on my own and had a good chat a few of them.

Once BG woke up we had a good look around and went to our own smoothie making session.  I wasn’t sure how BG would do, but she had a great time and loved throwing the fruit in the smoothie maker. We make a Banana  and Strawberry smoothie, BG decided that it needed blueberries and threw them in a well. When it was time to taste it she lapped it up, it was the first time she’s had a smoothie and she’s now hooked.

There were loads for the kids to do, including face painting, hat making and games on the computer. They were also giving out the innocent magnets, a very nice man helped E spell her name , then they will some help from the other children spelt Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious is up a metal girder. E thought that was great fun!

We had a great morning at Fruit Towers, BG ran around with a handful of straws for some reason but had a fab time. We came away with lots of goodies and have a fridge and freezer full of smoothies (the new smoothies tubes freeze for a great treat)

I must say if I was to ever go back to work in an office, I would want to work there!!
