Parent panel Review - Heinz baby food

Price:  £1.48/2 tubs (120g each)
Available from: Most supermarkets.
Suitable from:  4 months +
Initial Reaction: I loved the little plastic tubs it came in, rather than the usual glass jars.

Pros:
  • Made from carefully selected ingredients.
  • Steam cooked.
  • Re-sealable pots.

Cons:  Stains slightly. Bibs need soaking before washing.

Value for money? Good value for money
Overall Reaction:  I loved the fact that this food came in little re-sealable plastic pots, so you are able to store the rest in the fridge for up to 48hrs.  The food itself was quite a nice thick puree.  I’ve found that some purees are very thin and watery, but this one was just right, and it did look home-made. Brandon quite liked this one and ate almost a full pot. The testers I was given also gave the recipe, so that you can have a go at making your own.
An excellent stand-by for when you don’t have time to make your own.
I found the plastic pots are also good for storage once washed out.
