Parent Panel Review - Glorious Soups and Glorious Skinny Soups

Product: Glorious Soups and Glorious Skinny Soups
Price: £1.99
Available from: Most supermarkets

Initial Reaction: As a busy mum on the go it is sometimes difficult to make sure you eat a nutritious lunch. The combination of easy preparation and tasty recipes made these sound perfect.

Pros:

Several different flavours to suit every taste, we tried the Asian Tomato Rice & Ginger, Goan Spiced Tomato & Lentil, New England Butternut Squash, Sunny Thai chicken, Tuscan Chicken & Orzo and Toulouse Sausage & Bean Cassoulet.

All of the flavours tasted great and contain one of your five a day per half tub.

For a busy mum these are great as a quick lunch, you can leave to simmer on the hob or microwave them and you have a nutritious and filling meal without the hassle.

The Meal Soups contain lots of chunky meat and vegetables so really are a meal in themselves. The Skinny Soups as well as being tasty are also a healthy option.

Can be left in the fridge for up to three days after opening, which is great if you fancy something different the next day.

Cons:

These are a little more expensive than other tins/cartons of soup or making your own but they are fresh, tasty and brilliant for when you need a quick meal.

Value for money? Anything that cuts down on time in the kitchen whilst being tasty and good for you is definitely value for money and with one tub containing (for me anyway) two servings this is excellent value for money.

Overall Reaction:

I really loved these soups, they are great to keep in the fridge as a meal on the more busy days where I don’t get to make myself a lunch. They would also be great as a lunch time meal for work and the flavours are really tasty, you definitely feel full after half a tub. I particularly enjoyed the Tuscan Chicken & Orzo and Toulouse Sausage & Bean Cassoulet.
