I love a good bargain and a good rummage in a charity shop or a boot sale. Over the years I have bought some great items at even better prices.
I thought I would share some of my gems with you to inspire you to start buying second hand.
My first one is this great utensils pot.
I was looking for one as mine had broken. I have looked in all the usual places but couldn't find anything that I liked. I was having a browse in one of our local charity shops and there is was it all its glory and it cost me 50p!
Its really thick and solid and I think it makes a great addition to my kitchen.
Have you got any thrifty finds?
Cool utensil pot and bargain price! I often see lovely utensil pots in car boots and charity shops and secretly hope that our one breaks so I can buy a new one. Unfortunately it's solid granite so very unlikely to break. Sigh!

I'll send my daughter over I bet she can break it!
DeleteGreat that you needed one, looked for one and found it. Wish I could stick to those rules rather than buying things that make my old man look to the heavens!
ReplyDeleteI don't always buy what I need, I often just buy random things.
DeleteI'm impressed that you managed to find something so useful for such a good price.
ReplyDeleteThis is because I'm trying to stick to buying things from charity shops that will actually be used, rather than buying something first and then trying to find a use for it later.
I do that as well!
DeleteOoooh, I have one of those! Great find.
ReplyDelete50p! Bargain! I love when you actually find something you're looking for second hand..
