Cosmetics Review – Arbonne

Earlier this year I attended a Business Mums conference and meet Asli who is an independent consultant for Arbonne .

Arbonne’s products are Swiss-formulated and botanically based. No chemicals, toxins or mineral oils are used. Arbonne has been in the US for 30 years and is now available in the UK either through independent consultants or the online shop.

I was sent a sample of the RE9 Advanced Set, which contains 6 products.  I was sent sachets which I thought I would only get one use of but I was wrong.

Here is the science bit…

Anti-Ageing: RE9 Advanced synergises not one, but 9 major age-defying elements and botanicals in a powerful system of products clinically proven to start working within 24 hours.

The RE9 Advanced breakthrough approach addresses skin health by pairing targeted topical treatments with an age-defying supplement that accelerates results twice as fast. Antioxidant vitamin C, contained in the supplement, supports collagen synthesis and helps restore skin’s youthful glow. Algae extract enhances this activity on the skin’s outer layer, dramatically diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

This is what I tried:

Now I know what you are thinking wow it’s not cheap and it isn’t but I can honestly say that with exception of the toner each sachet lasted 3 days. You need the smallest amount of each product so I think that these would last quite a long time.

What I Liked:

  • The facial cleanser foams up so you only need a little bit, my face felt clean but not dry afterwards
  • You only need a small amount of each product
  • They all go on really nicely and soak in quite quickly
  • I thought after using all of them that my face would feel heavy and greasy but it didn't they are really lightweight
  • Skin felt really soft
  • Citrus smell

What I didn’t like:
  • The serum has a burnt citrus smell about it which wasn’t my favourite

I enjoyed using these products, my face felt really smooth and the dark circles under my eyes did start to fade.

I have got any wrinkles yet so I couldn’t see a difference there but it would be great as a deterrent.
You can buy them separately so if you didn’t need eye cream then there is no need to buy that.

I do think as you get older it’s worth investing in good skin care its much cheaper than cosmetic surgery!

I would use these products again.

Arbonne make a sell a range of products from skin care to make up, I’ve got my eye on a red lipstick!

You can find Asli page here.
