Review Graco Symbio

Me and BG have been road testing the Graco Symbio for the past few weeks and I have to say it’s a great pushchair.

It has a unique reversible handles so you can swap from parent facing to forward facing in a second, it really is that quick! You just squeeze the handle release and pull it over, ideal when your child becomes upset or the sun gets in their eyes.

It’s easy to put together, BG had a quick test once I got it together (all by myself I might add) and as you can see she was happy to be in it.

It’s light weight and easy to push, though the ride is not as smooth as it could be, it’s a little bumpy. It is so simple to recline there is a little catch under the hood, you just pull it up and it goes back, there are three seat positions. The toddler seat reclines so smoothly it doesn’t even wake BG up!

I like the 5 point harness as I know it keeps her safe and there is an armbar as well for extra safety. BG was comfortable in the seat as it is well padded and she liked being up high so she could see what’s going on.

Once you get the hang of it, folding the pushchair is really easy, though like most pushchairs with a separate chassis it does take up some room. One negative was the size of the basket it could do with being a little bigger for me. Also I missed having a cup holder for her and me on this pushchair.

I really like Graco pushchairs, actually our main pushchair before this one was a Graco Travel system and it was incredibly durable and easy to use. I trust their products completely.
I have the toddler seat package, which comes with chassis, the toddler seat and rain cover. You can also purchase a carrycot and carseat to use with the chassis, so it can use from birth up until your child is 15kg. It also comes with a car seat adaptor BG is a tall girl but fits in it perfectly, with some room to grow and she’s 17 months old.

Other accessories include a backpack that can attached the pushchair or worn. You can also purchase a footmuff to keep your child warm. Not a cheap system but to be honest most good ones aren't.

The Graco Symbio can be purchased at Babies R Us the Pushchair is £324.99, the Carrycot is £129.99, the Carseat is £109.99 like I said not cheap. Babies R Us are offering a multibuy at the moment buy all three and save £150.

We really like this pushchair, is definitely one to consider when looking for a pushchair or travel system.

  1. It was quite useful but I'm a tall lady and I learn that the handle height is not adjustable which is a real shame as i love the Graco symbio.
