Review - OBaby Mattress from Wilkinson Plus

The very kind people at Wilkinson’s came to rescue recently when BG’s cot bed mattress broke. Don’t even ask how it became broken it just did, well the lovely PR who I had been in contact with for the nappies and toiletries I have reviewed previously sent me a OBaby Foam Cot Bed Mattress and for which I am completely grateful.

BG hadn’t had a foam mattress before so I was interested to see how she was with it, it was thinner than her previous one but I needn’t had worried she didn’t seem to notice!! She sleeps really well on it.

Now when I say it’s thinner than her previous mattress I don’t mean to say that its very thin, it is perfectly fine. I like that it has holes just under the top layer that allows the mattress to breath. The out cover can be removed and put in the washing machine which is bonus.
I have a OBaby buggy so I knew they name and trusted it and at small £35 I thinks it s a great mattress. BG sleeps well on it and it fitted in our cot bed perfectly.

Wilkinson plus have quite a nice range online and have some great Baby Bundles, their cot bundles start from £138, may favourite is this Grace Cot Bed bundle at £198, you get a cot bed, a mattress, a quilt and bumper set and a mobile, I think that’s a great price personally.

Would I buy Obaby ? Yes

Would I buy from Wilkinson Plus? Yes

Review - Wilkinson Nappies

A few weeks ago I did a review on Wilkinson’s new baby range, well they have now launched a line of nappies and I was sent some to review.

The first thing you notice about the nappies is that they are quite plain and basic but don’t let this put you off, just because there is no fancy design doesn’t mean they don’t work.
I found they kept BG dry throughout the day and night, there was no leakage. They fitted snugly and seemed comfortable; BG didn’t have an issue with at all.

Wilkinson nappies come in three different ranges Cosy Dry, Active Fit and Easy Pant. We had the active fit ones but I would like to try the Easy Pants next as I find pull on nappies easier with BG now she likes to wriggle away.

The best thing about these nappies is the price one pack costs £3.74 and you can buy two packs for £7, that’s a bargain in my eyes.

Would I buy them? Yes, I’m not loyal to any brands I tend to buy what is on offer, though if I have a bad experience with a brand I don’t buy them again.

Wilkinson nappies are available to buy in store now and fit sizes 9-20lbs up until 35lb+

Review - Wilkinsons Baby Range

Wilkinson’s have launched a range of baby toiletries and products starting at the reasonable price of 77p!! What a bargain, but is it any good? Well I was sent some items to test and review.

Baby Wipes 80, 97P
These wipes though quite wet where just fine, they cleaned well and didn’t leave her bottom to wet. They didn’t irritate her or sting when she had nappy rash. They are heavily fragranced, but at that price I don’t care. They were quite thick and strong.

Baby Wash, 97p
The nanny wash is an extra mild formula, it smells quite pleasant. It’s quite a thin consistency but cleans well and didn’t dry BG’s skin too much. BG has eczema so we have to be extra careful with what we use on her.

Nursery Wipes, 72s, 77p
These are anti bacterial wipes, I liked these a lot. I normally use wet wipes to clean BG’s highchair tray and like the added bonus of them being anti bacterial. It’s a nice small pack that fits well in your bag to take with you when you out if you need them.

The Wilkinson’s range is a good budget range, they do they job they are intended to do. I would consider them in the future.

Wilkinson’s have new nappy launching soon, watch this space for my review!
