Children’s Clothes Review: MASH Junior Spring/Summer

Earlier this year we reviewed some clothes from the MASH JuniorAutumn/Winter range and we loved them.  

We have just been sent some lovely tops from their Spring/Summer range.

What I like about MASH Junior is they are well made, wash well and look really cute.  BG really likes wearing them.

MASH Junior is split into two lines - MASH Boy and MASH Kiss, for boys and girls respectively. The age range is 0 month to 16 years.

Clothes Review - Pure Collection

Just before Christmas I ran a giveaway to win a scarf from Pure Collection. They also sent me a 100% Cashmere Stole (£99) to try out. I know it’s a hard life!

I have a rather large collection of scarfs and pashmina’s but have never had a Cashmere one before and I can really tell the difference.

First of all it is so soft and warm, much warm then the stoles I have worn before. It’s just the right size to wrap around your neck as a scarf or around your shoulders as a wrap.

I have enjoyed wearing it throughout the cold weather (I am wearing now as I type) and don’t ever want to let it go.

Now it is £99 which is a lot of money but if you are looking for an investment piece then this is for you.  It comes in a large range of colours; I have grey which they do not have at the moment. I would go for a neutral colour that you could wear wiry anything. The great thing about Cashmere is that it can worn all year round.

Pure Collection has a great selection of products including dresses, accessories and of course their 100% Cashmere Collection.  

Children’s Clothes Review – Mini Boden

BG currently has more clothes than me, but when we were asked to review some Mini Boden Clothes we couldn’t resist.

This is what we chose from the girls clothing range.

Pros:

• Very well padded inside
• Really warm
• Super soft on the outside
• Great colours
• Looks fab
• Generous size
• Poppers instead of buttons

Children’s Clothes Review – Vertbaudet

BG is a very lucky girl and been sent some clothes from Vertbaudet to try out.

• BG can move around unrestricted, as you can see perfect for bike riding
• Knitted sleeves
• Press stud buttons
• Machine washable

• Comfortable to wear

Clothes Review – Hippychick Waterproof Dungarees

BG loves to jump in puddles, most children do. Her grandparents live in the middle of nowhere and they have the biggest puddles which makes BG very happy. It was also the perfect place to test the Hippychick Waterproof Dungarees we were sent to test and review.

BG went on a walk with Daddy and Gan Gan and tested them well!

As you can see she takes her job very seriously! She was bone dry after 45 mins jumping in puddles.

Material: Teflon coated nylon

Pros:

• Waterproof
• Adjustable straps
• Nice big size to go over clothes
• Breathable
• Comfortable to wear
• Wash really well
• Durable
• Practical

Cons:

• There really isn’t any

Value for money: Yes, they are adjustable so will last as she grows.

Overall reaction:  I really like these dungarees and so did BG. They are practical, easy to wear and most importantly do what they are supposed to do.  These will be perfect for getting out and about in the wet weather.

Just a warning while wearing these kids will want to jump in puddles!

Clothes Review: Ellos

Ellos is Swedish brand that has recently launched a UK site and I was asked if I would like to review some of their clothes. So I choose myself an outfit.

Now just to let you know how dumb I am, when I was choosing my clothes the weather was rather nice so I choose an item from the Summer range which is not available now!  

However it is a very lovely jacket and if I could get a good image of it I would share it but alas you just can’t see the shape well in a photo.  Anyway it fits really nice and is really comfortable, it was very similar to this jacket .

Parent Panel Review - Clarks Pram Shoes

Initial Reaction: There are several brands of leather baby shoes, a few of which I have tried so I was intrigued to see how Clarks would match them.

Pros:

• Good quality
• Looked comfy on my little girl
• Toggle is a good feature so they can be tightened when feet are smaller.
• No stitching on the inside to rub against little feet.

Cons:

• Although they are pretty they don’t match up to some of the other more funky style leather shoes I have seen and the styles available are limited.
• Unlike some of the other brands of leather baby shoes available these aren’t made in England, which is a shame.
• A little more expensive than other leather baby shoes available.

Value for money? They are quite expensive for a pair of shoes that will get outgrown very quickly. However they are good quality and fit really well, as you would expect from Clarks shoes.

Overall Reaction: If you are looking for a gift for a newborn then these are great as they come boxed and ready to be wrapped, also would be great as little christening shoes as the colours are great. Apart from them costing a little too much for baby shoes they are really great quality and looked comfy on my daughter and I certainly wouldn’t hesitate in putting them on her.

Review - Very

When Very said here is £50 to spend on what you want on our site, I thought “that’s my MAD awards outfit organised”

I bet your thinking “what can you get for £50?” well quite a lot actually. It took me ages to decide, I went back and forwards between a dress or trousers and a top but finally decided on this..

Yes, that’s me and Vic’s in the same top!! Great mind think alike, I think we both look fab.

I wore Savoir Petite Wide Leg Trousers £20. The fitted really well, I often struggle with trousers being both fat and short but these were lovely. They are elasticised at the back so fit over my belly and bum well.  

The gorgeous top we both chose, was this So Fabulous, Crochet Trim Top, £22. It was really comfy to wear, fitted well and the colour is fabulous. This top will get worn a lot; it’s my new special top!

So they came to £42, I could leave BG out so I got her this Timmy Time car for £5, which still brought me in £3 under budget!

I almost went with a dress, they have selection of  Women's Dresses. If I had gone for a dress I think it would have been this Teatro Circle Embellished Dress £49, I love the colour.

There is a great selection on Women’s, Men’s and Children’s clothing available, plus much, much more.

Would I buy from Very? Yes I would

Review – Oh Baby London

I am a huge fan of Oh Baby London clothing, BG now has several pieces from the range not only are they funky and different that are so durable, BG has been wearing her super funky Oh Baby Dresses for at least 6 month and she still fits in them. They are perfect as dressed with some funky tights or over leggings and jeans as a top.

These are my favourite pictures of BG in one of her outfits.

Oh Baby London is an independent baby clothing brand based in Brick Lane, London, and sold all across the world from Europe to New York to Tokyo.

All of their designs are 100% original, created in their Brick Lane studio by people who love what they do.

So you can imagine my delight when they asked if we want to review an outfit for them. They sent us this fabby Leopard Print Bubble Dress £25 and if you want your child to stand out them this is the dress for you.

I do like to clash BG’s clothes so here she is in her dress with stripped top and hot pink leggings I think she pulls it off.

You’re in luck this great dress is on sale at the moment, so grab yourself a bargain who won’t be disappointed. These clothes are so well made, they come up a dream after washing and I find they don’t really need ironing.

Would I buy it? You already know the answer to that, yes.

I just need to decide what outfit I want for BG next!
